Craigslist’s long beach to sell for $15 million

Long Beach, California (CNN) Craigslist is closing its long beach in the state for sale.

The popular website announced Thursday that it was closing its beach, located in Belmar Beach, for sale to the public for a reported $15.8 million.

It is the first major listing for the beach since it opened in 2005.

Craigslist is an online marketplace for real estate.

Its website says it has been “re-inventing the way we connect people around the world and provide a global community for the past three decades.”

The property, located on the east coast of Long Beach near the city of Long Island, is a popular tourist attraction and has been home to several local businesses.
