A man has been arrested after he shot and injured a man while he was standing on a Bonsa-Bonsai trees on the southern coast of Australia.
According to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, the man had just returned from a Bonta-bonsai walk with a friend at the beach when he was approached by a man who appeared to be a “young man” who was acting aggressively.
“The man tried to pull the man out of the bushes but he continued to follow the man and then he pulled out a firearm and shot him in the leg,” the agency said.
The man is currently in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“Police are investigating the incident and inquiries are ongoing,” a spokesperson for NSW Police said.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.”
